Cat Power: 'The Greatest' in January
Cat Power's new album
She's 'The Greatest'

Cat Power is to return with a new album in early 2006.

The singer/songwriter releases 'The Greatest' on 23 January. It's not a compilation but a follow-up to 2003's 'You Are Free'.

The tracklisting is as follows:

'The Greatest'
'Could We'
'Lived In Bars'
'Islands'
'After It All'
'The Moon'
'Living Proof'
'Empty Shell'
'Willie'
'Where Is My Love'
'Hate'
'Love & Communication'

There is an MP3 of the title track from the album at matadorrecords.com/news.

While world touring with a full band will commence in the New Year, Cat Power is currently performing solo dates around the USA.
