Digital Music Awards

Yahoo! Music has been nominated for two awards in this year's Digital Music Awards, we are pleased to confirm.

The site is in the running for prizes at the fifth annual event, in the categories of Best Radio Station and Best Use Of Broadband.

The winners will be announced at a lavish ceremony at London's Hammersmith Palais on 18 October. This year, for the first time, the show is to be broadcast on national TV, with Channel 4 broadcasting the event next month.

Elsewhere in the nominations, the likes of Coldplay, Gorillaz, Goldfrapp, Natasha Bedingfield, Stereophonics, the Chemical Brothers and Goldie Lookin' Chain are all up for awards.

Many of the winners are to be decided by voting from the public, including categories such as Best Single, Artist of the Year and the People's Choice Awards.
